The Passages Sunday School class is an active group of “mid-life” friends who are mostly 40+ but remain very young at heart! All are welcome to visit and join the group, which enjoys the variety of teaching styles and interests of the members who teach in rotation. Lessons frequently include fresh looks at favorite scripture and stories, current authors, Biblical history and archeology, and most especially, how to apply learning to the challenges of everyday life. The Passages Class really enjoys social gatherings and outings, most recently enjoying a “back to school” dinner party, and a trip to see the movie Jerusalem at Fernbank following a pre-theatre supper. Members of the class are also very involved in church missions and lay leadership efforts, and they are eager to share their church life with others.
